Honey oats soap is a delicious smelling bar scented with lemongrass essential oil and natural plant oils and butters, along with Carrageen Irish Moss Seaweed. It soothes dry itchy skin and benefits all skin types. Your skin will be exfoliated, moisturised, glowing, brighter and clearer from first use.

Loaded with honey for its antibacterial and antiseptic abilities it brings relief to oily and acne-prone skin. Honey also attracts moisture from the air to the skin, keeping skin hydrated. It helps open the pores to clear away dirt and reveal clean glowing skin.

Oats contain avenanthramides- a group of phenolic alkaloids with antioxidant, anti-itch and anti-inflammatory activities that soothe itchy, dry and irritated skin. It also absorbs oil from the skin’s surface so it’s great for oily skin.  The oats provide a gentle exfoliation to lift dead skin cells to reveal brighter skin.

My soap recipes are created to gently clean, without stripping the skin of natural oils. I make my soap in small batches with natural plant based oils and butters, unrefined, to preserve their inherent nutrients. Unlike commercial soaps and body washes, they contain no nasty additives that can damage not only the skin, but our environment. I scent my soaps only with natural ingredients and use essential oils which have benefits beyond scent. They can provide aromatherapy benefits from relaxation to stress relief.  I use the cold process method as this retains as many of the nutrients as possible from my ingredients. A batch of soap takes six weeks to cure, so I do sometimes run out of certain varieties. Handmade soap retains natural glycerine-a by product of soap making. Glycerine is a humectant, so it draws moisture from the air to hydrate your skin. All of my skincare contains Carrageen Irish Moss Seaweed another humectant, which is loaded with vitamins and beautifying minerals which help soften, hydrate and strengthen the skin. It also promotes the production of collagen-the protein which helps give strength and elasticity to skin.
