Night time is a time to relax, reflect and to take a few moments to smooth away the challenges of your day. Sleep is vital for healthy, moisturised skin, as our skin goes through most of its restoration while we’re asleep. Blood flow to our skin increases and delivers the nutrients it needs to repair the damage caused during the day from exposure to the elements. Our skin is better at absorbing active ingredients at night because it becomes more permeable. As a result, the balm is able to thoroughly penetrate and work its magic.
Ingredients
I make this luxurious anti ageing night balm balm with natural botanical based ingredients. All of my skincare range contains Carrageen Irish Moss*. This is a highly nutritious seaweed and has many benefits for skin health. Coconut, olive and almond oils (locally sourced where possible), soothe, hydrate and restore skin’s elasticity. Cocoa butter and beeswax protect and nourish the skin. I enrich it with lavender essential oil which will promote a good night’s sleep.
Directions
Use after cleansing. Apply a pea-sized amount of this overnight balm on your face, neck and décolletage. Massage gently in upward circular motions as your skin absorbs the balm. This also improves blood circulation to your face. Wait for up to 5 minutes for the balm to be absorbed to avoid wasting any on your pillow!
This overnight balm will promote a relaxing night time ritual.

*Carrageen Irish Moss
This virtually odorless seaweed is hand harvested and sourced from the clean waters of the West of Ireland.This seaweed is loaded with vitamins and beautifying minerals which help soften, hydrate and strengthen the skin. It also soothes eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Carrageen Irish Moss promotes cell renewal, tissue repair and the production of collagen. Collagen is the fibrous protein that helps give strength and elasticity to skin. We begin to produce less of it from our mid-twenties, so including collagen promoting products in your skincare is key to anti ageing

I will certainly be giving some products away as gifts to family and friends as they are just beautiful and so natural.
I first saw them on expose a few weeks ago and I was intrigued particularly by the lavender night balm as that is right up my street so I simply had to treat myself.
As a mum of 3 little girls of 3, 21 months and 3 months, I find the products ideal for being so close to my babies skin as it is so natural and soothing and also to help me feel a sense of relaxation.
