I create effective, natural, anti-ageing skin health products and natural eco-soy wax candles.
My mission is to provide luxury products for environmentally conscious consumers at an affordable price
I hand make all of my products, using safe, sustainable, natural, plant based ingredients and therapeutic essential oils. My skincare range contains the nutrient dense seaweed , Carrageen Irish Moss for nourished, healthy, radiant skin. For the candle range, I use 100% natural Eco-soy wax, a renewable resource. I scent them with therapeutic essential oils. The range offers many health and wellness benefits.
I make my products in my workshop in the Dublin mountains. Along with purchasing them online, you can pick them up in my shop. This is located in the craft courtyard in South Dublin’s beautiful Marlay Park which I share with artist Patricia Fitzgerald of Healing Creations
I founded the business shortly after the birth of my children. Over the years, I had begun to develop reactions to ingredients in skincare products and after having children, I wondered about the unnecessary chemicals in the everyday things my family was using; things as basic as soap and bubble bath Because of this, I learnt how to provide a better alternative by creating cold processed soap, hand made balms and moisturisers that are safe, natural and what’s more – actually good for skin. Every ingredient is added for its specific skin benefit. What’s not added is equally important.
Upon conducting research I discovered the benefits of including Carrageen Irish Moss in my skincare products. This edible seaweed from the Atlantic ocean, is rich in antioxidants and nutrients. The moss has been harvested in Ireland for centuries for medicinal purposes and offers many health benefits. When included in skincare formulations, it has a wonderful ability to help the skin to attract and retain moisture and so, keeping it soft and supple. It’s also loaded with skin health vitamins and minerals which promote cell renewal and tissue repair, along with the production of collagen to keep our skin younger looking.
Initially, I started a small business to test the market for natural skincare. My customers loved the results. From improving psoriasis, to a healthy glow, it was tolerated by sensitive skin. It reduced acne breakouts for some and promoted healing for eczema in others.
Since 2018 you’ll find me and my products in the Marlay Park Courtyard. This keeps me very much in touch with consumer demands where all my ideas for new products can be trialed and tested before they go on sale. Here, customers can return their empty candles and skincare containers for credit in a refill to reuse zero waste scheme.
